Special Needs

People might have special needs because they need medicine, therapy, or extra help in school or work.  We are surrounded by people that might need a little extra attention or go about doing tasks a little differently. Approximately 52 million people have some kind of disabling condition where their daily lives are affected by barriers in employment, transportation, health care and education. Unfortunately these differences are what lead to stigmatization rather than recognizing the potential that each individual has despite the fact that they may look or act differently that their peers.
